Reporting for a partial year for MIPS in 2017? October 2 is coming!

September 13, 2017 - 01:30pm EDT

As of October 2, 2017 there are only 90 days left in the performance period for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) Transition Year 2017. If your practice plans to report for a partial year, you will have to start collecting MIPS performance data on or before October 2. Here are some action items for your practice to optimize your performance in these final 90 days.

  • Determine the six Quality measures your practice intends to report on, and begin running reports to monitor performance on those measures.
  • Confirm your Advancing Care Information (ACI) measure data is being captured by your electronic health record.
  • Continue your engagement with SNE-PTN as TCPi participation is a high weighted Improvement Activity (IA).
